The image is printed to the back, which is clearly seen through the clear glass front. The image doesn't peel or flake because the high quality sublimation inks are embedded into the glass for a long lasting image. There's 4 protective feet on the underside. Not only is it a great chopping board or protective surface for your hot hair appliances, it is a pretty addition to your kitchen or bedroom. It is made from toughened glass that has been tempered so that it can withstand heat.
