Description
The Coffin Pendant Necklace features a coffin shaped cabochon made from a grey larvikite and a glass skull bead that is purple/green in colour. The cabochon is elegantly wrapped in copper wire and detailed with swirls and copper beads, adding a touch of sophistication and style to any gothic outfit. The wire has been oxidised to create a darker dramatic antiqued effect and then polished to bring out the shine of the copper. This striking pendant measures approx 5.6cm in height and is suspended on a 2mm diameter black waxed cotton cord necklace with lobster claw fastening and extender chain. The cord necklace measures approx 46-50cm (18-19.5 inches).
Larvikite is a Feldspar originating from Larvik, Norway where it is the national stone. Sometimes referred to as Black Moonstone because of its dark iridescent flashes, Larvikite is a grounding stone thought to ease anxiety and stress.
The copper will tarnish in time, and can be brightened by rubbing with a polishing cloth. Keep away from moisture by not wearing in the swimming pool, bath and shower.
