Description
Our new large handcrafted Owl Necklace features an Indigo Gabbro Jasper stone with irregular shaped black and grey patches. Volcanic in nature, Indigo Gabbro is a plutonic rock that forms deep in the Earth's and Oceanic crusts from high pressure and cooled magma. The stone is wrapped in copper wire to form an owl's face. The wire has been oxidised to create a darker antiqued effect and then polished to bring out the shine of the copper. This striking pendant measures approx 4.4cm in height and is suspended on a 2mm diameter black waxed cotton cord necklace with lobster claw fastening and extender chain. The cord necklace measures approx 46-50cm (18-19.5 inches).
The copper will tarnish in time, and can be brightened by rubbing with a polishing cloth. Keep away from moisture by not wearing in the swimming pool, bath and shower..
